One of the top
business tycoons of the country, Mukesh Ambani is known for his over-the-top
investments right from his 17 storey house, the Antilia to expensive
security-laden luxury cars.
In fact, his
house's first six storeys are meant only for parking his 168 vehicles. A new
addition to Mukesh Ambani's list of vehicles is this new vanity van which costs
Rs 25 crore, a price the elite would pay for a new luxury apartment.
The value of registration is
claimed to be a whopping Rs 1.82 crore, way more than a small flat that most of
the common people can afford. The custom-made office cum leisure space has a
stairway entry which opens up into a 30 sq ft usable area.
This includes two luxury
bedrooms, one large meeting room, one small meeting room, a fully functional
fire proof kitchen as well as a refrigerator and a sky lounge on the roof for a
small occasion on the move. Although the performance figures are not known,
they would be adequate enough to get the business tycoon and owner of Reliance
Industries in absolute comfort. The central air conditioning system is claimed
to cool the entire van, even on a hot day, in just 22 seconds.
And
since this vanity van has to ferry Mukesh Ambani himself along with his family
and/or staff, it is completely bulletproof as well as fire proof. In addition,
it is GPS enabled and traceable for added security. The driver cabin is also a
different style on with a central pod type windscreen design with three wiper
blades. Other comfort features in the vanity van also include a full internet
-ready smart TV, Wifi, sitting area apart from the sky lounge and an inner
relaxing zone with entertainment options in all rooms.
Before purchasing the
vanity van, Mukesh Ambani's most expensive possession on four wheels is his BMW
760 Li Security which cost him Rs 8.5 crore, according to a report on Business
Insider. The high cost of the car is because it is a completely imported unit
with armoured cars attracting an import duty of 300 percent. The vanity van is
now the most expensive vehicle in Mukesh Ambani's garage.
